Thiers is known for its crafts and knifes. Visits to the cutlery museum will be followed by a walk in the Vallée des rouets known for its mills used for crafts work. A shopping stop before going back to the castle is also planned.
Billom has since antiquity been a crossroads of economics, culture and religion. Enjoy a guided visit of the city before heading to the the typical Auberge de la Forge restaurant and the nearby Glaine de Montaigut village with its charming old streets.
The Volcano road
